Privacy Policy
We Collect Nothing.
This is not a typical privacy policy. Most privacy policies explain what data a company collects and how they use it. Ours explains why we collect none.

The Short Version
- ✓ We collect nothing from your device.
- ✓ All processing is 100% local on your hardware.
- ✓ There is no telemetry, no analytics, and no tracking.
- ✓ Your voice recordings stay on your device.
- ✓ Your family's conversations are never transmitted anywhere.
- ✓ We have no servers that store your data.
- ✓ The software works completely offline.
Your Device
Still With You is a local-first application. Every component of the system -- voice synthesis, language model inference, memory storage, facial recognition, speech-to-text -- runs entirely on the hardware in your home. There are no cloud servers involved in the operation of your device.
Your voice recordings, family memories, conversation history, facial encodings, and all other personal data are stored exclusively on your device's local storage. This data never leaves your local network. There are no upload mechanisms, sync features, or backup services that transmit data externally.
The software installs on hardware you own. Your personal data is created only during the setup process that you perform at home. We have no access to your system after delivery.
No Telemetry
The software does not contain telemetry, analytics, crash reporting, usage tracking, or any other mechanism that transmits information about how you use the product. We do not know how often you use it, what you talk about, how many memories you have stored, or any other usage metric.
This is a deliberate design choice, not an oversight. The conversations your family has with this system are among the most intimate and personal interactions possible. We believe no company should have access to them.
No Internet Required
Your device does not require an internet connection to function. All AI models run locally on the device's GPU. Voice synthesis, speech recognition, memory retrieval, and facial recognition all operate without any network connectivity.
You may optionally connect the device to the internet for initial software updates after unboxing. After that, the device can be permanently disconnected from the internet with no loss of functionality.

Data Ownership
You own all data on your device. Your voice recordings, memories, conversation history, and all other personal data belong exclusively to you. We claim no rights to any data you create or store on your device.
If Still With You as a company ceases operations, your device continues to function exactly as before. There are no license servers, activation checks, or cloud dependencies that could affect the operation of your device. The underlying technology stack is fully open source.
Children's Privacy
Still With You is designed to be used by children as part of a family. All interactions with children are processed locally on the device. No data about children's conversations, facial encodings, or usage patterns is transmitted anywhere.
The parental alert system (which monitors conversations for sensitive topics) operates entirely on-device. Alert data is stored locally and displayed only to the parent identified by facial recognition on the same device.
